POLITICS BETRAY

The Death of a Soldier by Saket Suryesh, is certainly a viable story in today's war torn world. A story that tells of love, honor, truth, friendship, and courage. In this short story one can find all the elements of what both a soldier and his family might discover during war.
It doesn't matter what country or circumstances a soldier comes from, he/she will carry the same burdens of love of country, home, their own code of honor and friendship.
One might find themselves leaving behind our world of modern conveniences and discover greater truths. Those truths that all humans have more similarities than differences.
Mr. Suryesh once again captures our hearts and minds in his story. His words paint an eloquent and vivid picture of what life can be and how politics whether they be on a small scale or a large one can change our lives.
It is a deep story that once again shows his flair for capturing the essence of life and love.
