Excellent read

I watched my first NASCAR race at the Texas Faces in 2015. I knew next to nothing about racing, although I had heard of Jeff Gordon. I was with my sister and her husband who were avid fans and they were trying to get knowledge up to speed as quickly as possible. It was with total fury that we watched Kezlowski wipe the 24 tire, and Jeff Gordon, out of the race. Gordon may have gotten over it but we didn't.
From that moment I was hooked on racing and I am so pleased to learn about the man behind the wheel. The book was well-written, informative without being cloying or egotistical.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good read, enjoys biographical books or just wants to learn more about this enigmatic driver.
