Good tips book, not truely for Advanced/Pro players

Very good 'general missed basic tips' book to read. It doesn't really go into any super specifics, although I am very partial to Daniel Negreanu's writing. He points out some normal holes in a player's play style, which is very nice and refreshing. I like how he has his book written in the aspect that I never really get bored/irritated in reading it. It's very good in reference to keeping someone entralled in reading the book.

I like the fact that skims over common mistakes and ways to play. I like the fact that its moreso 'meat and potatoes' in a quick version then a very lengthy book that you have to read, at times, over and over again.

I would HIGHLY recommend this to players that are just beginning or are trying to take that next step up in limits in reference to tournaments. Good buy unless you are already playing higher limits.

Overall, I would recommend this book to players who want to help elevate their game. Very 'spread' kind of read.

Grammar needs polishing! Otherwise Info is valuable!

The grammar in this is plain awful. The author tries to have a nice touch and friendly way with his sentences but it distracts from the overall purpose of the book!

The information is there and I got some use out of it but really send it to an editor first!

I can't say for sure it's all you'll ever need, but it should be one of the first books you read. If you want to be an animator, this book is a must, for your collection. Written in easy to understand terms, making the information easy to retain.
